Andy J. Wu, PhD, OT is an occupational therapist and a recognized leader in adaptive gaming and rehabilitation. As the former Senior Director of Peer Counseling at AbleGamers, he led one of the organization’s most impactful programs by building hospital and industry partnerships and securing major funding to integrate gaming into therapy for people with disabilities.
As the founder of ReSpawn Foundation, Andy now leads fundraising, operations, and strategy, handling everything from growing awareness to the less glamorous backend paperwork. He is committed to carrying ReSpawn’s mission forward: making gaming a meaningful part of recovery for people with life-changing injuries.
Currently (and always) playing Fortnite, some Overcooked, and Suika Game.
James Cooke, CNP is a nonprofit professional and avid gamer with over twenty years of experience, including time as a world-ranked World of Warcraft player in two classes: Monk and Druid. His career began in the culinary field, but a life-changing accident led him to shift his focus to the nonprofit sector. As a non-traditional student, he earned a degree in Nonprofit Management and Social Innovation from Kennesaw State University and is now pursuing an MBA with a specialization in Business Intelligence.
At ReSpawn Foundation, James leads brand partnerships, fundraising, and event coordination, combining his love for gaming with his commitment to expanding access in rehabilitation settings.
When he’s not working or studying, you’ll find him deep in World of Warcraft, Path of Exile, or just about any survival game.
